Booking shared facilities through the resident application installed on their smartphone allows users to select the desired room, specify the date and time of use, and confirm the reservation seamlessly.
In some cases, users may find it more convenient to book shared facilities through a kiosk located in public areas. Users can select the desired room, specify the date and time of use, and confirm the reservation directly from the kiosk.
Administrators or building owners can also manage and monitor shared facility bookings through the backend system. They can confirm or cancel reservations, as well as view booking history and resident information with ease.
Once a user makes a reservation for a shared facility through any available channel, the system generates a QR code to confirm the booking. When it’s time to access the facility, the user can scan the QR code at the access control device located at the facility entrance. If the booking information is valid, the home automation system will automatically activate and grant access.
